Let's Run 100 Miles!

You probably don't know much about my friend Tony and his recent ALS diagnosis. Heart-wrenching is not even close to describing how we feel watching such a cowardly disease take over the life of someone you care deeply about.

Having known Tony, Jodi and their children for the last 6 years, we too have struggled with understanding the unfairness of it all. Why is it that bad things happen to good people?

We know there is no real answer to this question so we (the Davenports) do what we do best. We support our friends in any way possible...even if it qualifies as crazy.

That's where I come in.

I'm going to run as many miles as I can in 24 hours (or 100 miles, whichever comes first) for Tony while raising money for the ALS Association of Arizona.

This is where you come in.

By making a donation of every mile I run, not only are you fueling me on but you're also giving hope to Tony and the many others afflicted with this horribly debilitating disease.
